How to describe yourself by collecting works from others?
My answer is shown above.
Therefore I got some pretty cool hook-up words from my class about me, my way of working and about the work itself. German hook-up words:

reflektiert, klar, direkt
wortgewandt, ausdrucksstark
farbenreich
formbewusst/ esthetisch
sensitiv, feinfühlig
abstrakt
kommunikativ, offen
natürlich
poetisch
pastellig
optimistisch
humorvoll
intelligent

konzeptionelles & illustratives Design - das Onlineportfolio

Die eigene Arbeit zu präsentieren, eine Auswahl an Projekten zu treffen, sie vorteilhaft in Szene setzten und einen Rahmen geben, der einen selbst als Designer zu verkörpern fähig ist. All das beinhaltet das eigene Onlineportfolio. Eine erste, durchdachte Version ist hier zu sehen.

Narziß & Goldmund

For me German language with its large vocabulary and possibilities in grammar is really beautiful and unique. But of course staying in touch with the beauty of this language should be joyful.

So my aim for this project was to create a much shorter, more easy, interesting and appealing version of a classical novel in form of a printed book without loosing the beauty of language and the main statements of the story.

To reach this expected result I chose one of the classical written pieces of German literature as a base to work on. Narziß and Goldmund from Hermann Hesse.

The main steps were to cut the content of the whole book down to it´s main statements and develop a strong visual support out of this parts in form of illustrations. Also the typography and the pages format should become part of the whole visual support.
